TOUR DESCRIPTION
You’ll be transferred by coach to Hurghada Marina, where you’ll board a boat for a 45-minute trip to the stunning Giftun Island — a true haven for relaxation and sunbathing.
Upon arrival, you’ll head to the island’s tourist camp, which offers all essential facilities including a restaurant, diving center, and restrooms. Remarkably, all of this has been developed without disturbing the island’s pristine natural environment. Surrounded by untouched beauty, you can fully immerse yourself in nature’s serenity.
Giftun Island feels like a natural amphitheatre — a paradise reminiscent of scenes from books and films. Whether you’re lounging on the beach or taking in the views from a hilltop, the breathtaking landscape surrounds you. A variety of activities are available, including snorkeling, diving, racket sports, and handball. Later, you’ll enjoy lunch at the camp’s restaurant.
The camp’s design is inspired by the island’s natural surroundings: parasols made from Casuarina and palm trees, steps built with locally sourced stones, and a connecting bridge constructed from Casuarina stalks — all blending harmoniously with the environment.
After a day of relaxation and exploration, you’ll board your boat for the return journey to Hurghada Marina, then rejoin your coach to head back to your ship.
HELPFUL HINTS
- This tour is suitable for elderly guests, provided they do not have mobility limitations. It is not recommended for individuals with physical restrictions or difficulty walking.
- Upon arrival at Giftun Island, the launch will dock at designated buoys. Passengers will then transfer to smaller motorboats for the short ride to the beach.
- Toilet facilities and a sun deck are available on the launch.
- Passengers may change into swimwear while on board.
- A sun hat, sunglasses, sunblock, and bottled water are highly recommended.
- Wear comfortable beach attire and shoes that remain suitable even when wet.
- Bring your own towel.
- Giftun Island is a protected nature reserve. All guests must leave the island by 4:00 PM. Strict conservation rules are in place, and visitors are expected to act responsibly and respect the environment at all times.
- Snorkeling equipment is provided.
- Guests who prefer not to snorkel will transfer directly to the island’s beach for swimming or relaxation.
