Located about 55 km south of Sharm El Sheikh at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, Ras Mohamed is widely considered Sinai’s most breathtaking natural site. As a protected national park, it remains untouched by modern development, preserving its raw beauty and ecological significance.
Famed for its vibrant coral reefs and rare marine species, the reserve offers a sanctuary for nature lovers and snorkelers alike. Along the way, stop for scenic photos before arriving at the park. Once inside, explore the unique mangrove swamp before preparing for an unforgettable snorkeling experience—complete with guidance from professional instructors and provided equipment.
For those seeking a panoramic view, an optional climb to the Ras Mohamed promontory—known as the Shark Observatory—offers stunning vistas over the Gulf of Aqaba. Please note: the ascent is steep, with no steps or handrails.
